Gold Gasken doesn't guess direction. It places pending orders on both sides of price, then manages whichever side gets triggered with a distance-based layering grid — designed to widen, not tighten, as price moves against it.
A Buy Stop and Sell Stop are placed a set distance from the current price. Whichever side price reaches first opens the trade.
If price moves against the open position by the step distance, a new layer opens with a larger lot — up to a configurable max.
Each layer's distance is multiplied by a step factor greater than 1.0, so the grid spreads out over a trend instead of compounding fast.
Take-profit is calculated off the average entry price of all open layers, closing the full basket in one move once it's hit.
Example: as price keeps moving one direction, each new layer opens farther away than the last — not closer together.
